I frequently attend this which which location and today the food was subpar very disappointing. I ordered a turkey sandwich as usual cold not hot the onion on the sandwich was the rotten skin of an onion. Absolutely disgusting as well the tomato was old and soggy. I ordered blue cheese on it but it came with feta not blue. I'll attach a picture is possible. Also the lady in the front refused to five me a receipt cuz she said there out of ink. I waited 7min to get a receipt which came to find out was because she was too lazy to put a new roll of paper in. Giving 2 stars because this is the 1st disappointing experience I've had here, Won't be going back for awhile!

Decent enough food, but having to wait 20 minutes for a sandwich is ridiculous! May as well hit Subway the next time.

    They make great sandwiches!

Delicious! I love their concept, grab a paper bag menu, and go to town with all the choices! They are completely custom subs! My visit to Denver was definitely not complete without several visits to this place and it definitely hits the spot! Oh, and their brand chips are delicious!

As far as sandwich places go, this one knocks the socks off all the rest of them! They have soooo many choices, you could come in here every day for months and never eat the same thing twice. Lots of great vegetarian choices, too. They toast the bread to perfection and really don't skimp on the toppings. I would have given five stars because I'm Colorado proud, but the service at this location has been steadily deteriorating since they made a few staffing changes about a year ago. Now, most of the servers are indifferent. They don't greet you when you come in or when you leave, even if the place is empty. There's one woman, whom I think must be a shift lead or something, she has dyed black hair and is a bit chubby - this woman acts like taking your order and making your sandwich is a damned inconvenience. I would be happy to give the last star if they would hire more pleasant people.

This was my first time visiting a Which Wich. I walked in and was immediately greeted by one of the workers. She asked if it was my first visit. I told her it was. She continued to walk me through the process of creating the sandwich of my dreams. Thank you, sandwich artist, for not letting me stare at the wall forever, not knowing what to do. Great customer service, speedy service and delicious nomz. That's what this place is made of.

Definitely becoming my favorite sammich shop because the customization you can add to your sub are seemingly endless! So many difference spreads and sauces you'll probably spend quite some time there just figuring out what you want exactly. Try the wicked if you have a hearty appetite! It's quite filling...

People have been raving about Which Wich, so I thought I'd give them a try last night. VERY disappointing. Way over rated, and the price was ridiculous. $9 for a sandwich where the bread was dry, the meat, and other fixin's were very skimpy...I've had better food from subway. The speed was crazy slow and I could hear the workers talking about what would happen if they just walked out. Not a good experience, don't get the rave.

Their Turkey Which Bowl is the best salad in town! I order on line and it's ready by the time I arrive. Keep up the great work Which Wich!

ummmm I THINK IM IN LOVE. how fun is this concept? Grab a bag, select what you want, superr customizable, and bam. HUNGER PAINS GONE. - Hummus / cucumber WICH - Chocolate Cookies & Cream Milk Shake (I ALMOST DIED.)

My first time at any location and I was far from impressed.. Very impersonal with little employee interaction - simply fill out your whole order on a bag and turn it in. Even with little room for error, my order was still wrong ! Missing ingredients , Jalepenos replaced with banana peppers ..absolutely no reason for these little mistakes , as I was the only person there at the time! Not only that, but they have the audacity to have a tip jar by the register !!! Who do you think you are ? It would be something different if you actually TOOK my order or delivered it, or checked on customers, or simply MADE the food correctly!!! But none of the above happens- would not recommend.

Very disappointed, first they messed up my sandwich, and charged my card wrong. After getting all that fixed I waited for my sandwich to be made. after waiting another 30 mins and still no sandwich I told them to forget it. I had gone in with a friend and she had already got her sandwich and ate it. I have never had this bad of service at a which wich, so I will try another but not this one.

Which Wich sammies and salads are great. Plus order a cookie and have it tossed in the oven. Unforunately, this location suffers from the worst parking lot in the Park Meadows area. I either have to visit before 11:30 or after 1:30 --- unless I want to park over at Ulta.

Step in the door, grab yourself a paper bag menu, a red marker and decide which-which sandwich to order. It sounds easy but in reality it's not. They have so many different sandwich options and add-ons you could spend your lunch break just deciding what to eat. The good news is you probably can't go wrong ! I've never had a bad sandwich here and it's made to order with only the things you've marked so the margin for error is pretty slim ! Do yourself a favor and head over to Which Which !

I have no idea what took me so long to try Which Wich, but I can tell you it will be added to my regular rotation of lunch stops from today forward! WW is a place that just gets it right. They do the obvious - let you 100% customize YOUR sandwich. As you walk into the place you are greeted with a station filled with paper bags. The idea is you fill out the bag to customize the sandwich you want. No preordained selection here, nope, it is all up to you. The selection is extensive, so it is a bit overwhelming at first, however I defaulted to a sandwich I usually eat at Quiznos (Turkey, Bacon, Swiss, Ranch, Lettuce & Tomato) and it did not disappoint. The bread is fresh and soft and the ingredients are plentiful! No skimping here. Only con: Parking. It is over in the shops near Park Meadows where Chiptole and Game Stop are and there are very little parking at lunch. It is best to just park at Barnes & Noble and walk over! Easier to get out :) It is just good stuff.

Which wich is relatively close to my work and it's been there for a while and I haven't been, so we figure what the heck today and went over. You walk in the door and they have a big carousel filled with bags and pens so you can write out (circle it on a bag) your order. I actually like this idea so that there's no confusion and you get exactly what you want. I ordered a turkey on wheat with lettuce and cheese. I'm a fairly simple sandwich person :) I'd classify what I got as more of a toasted sub than a sandwich, but it worked for me. The sandwich/sub was good and hot and I think between the wife and I the order was only $15 so it was somewhat of a bargain, too. We'll definitely be going back!

this was my first time & I got a toasted Italian sandwich & OMG.....in love!!!! it was fun to create my own & everything tasted fresh! I will be going back for sure!!!!

Oh man do I love Which Wich! They've got about 60 base sandwiches to start with and endless add ins. Pretty much whatever you're in the mood for they have one. I mean a monte cristo sandwich. Need I say more. Like most the staff was friendly. The food was good and always right. The only thing that sucks is the parking lot. Why? How? What?! Well you see it's like a death trap. I don't understand how but it's so packed and people have such large SUVs and there is a line to get in the lot. If you don't die while driving through the lot I wish you the best of lucking finding a free parking space as the lot holds like !5 spot. I no joke saw an old lady hit a man walking through it. But really be brave. Eat odd sandwiches. Be happy.

  • Tiffany N.

Oh, man. OhmanOhmanOhmanOhmanOhmanOhman. Oh, man. I love this place. Mostly because I'm a picky eater and a hands on kind of girl and Which Wich satisfies both of these criteria. Basically you walk in and as everyone said fill out the bag with what you want on your sandwich. What I hadn't heard was that each bag is for a particular kind of meat. So, choose carefully or you may get a breakfast sandwich with pickles and mustard. Bleh. Anyway, the serving sizes are perfect - no foot longs here. Also, they have homemade chips if you want those instead of Lays or whatever. And you can get shakes or malts. Super rad!

Here's the deal: If Lacey M and Jason S give a place 5 stars, just go. You don't need to read any further. They won't steer you wrong. This was no exception. I had never heard of it until I saw Lacey's review, and Jason's followed. I took advantage of my lunchtime to run over there and check it out. So here's how it works: You walk in, grab a brown paper bag and mark off what you want on your sandwich. You pay and wait a few minutes whilst noshing on some house chips (seriously, these are good, thick-cut, wavy potato chips seasoned with salt and pepper, get them!) Then they call your name and hand you your bag back, only now it's stuffed with your freshly-made sammich! (This all seems, hmmm, what's the word? Efficient. Who'da thunk it?) Let me break this one down for ya: Italian grinder - salami, pepperoni, capicola. MMMMMMM. I asked for: Red onions - FRESH! I mean really fresh! Impressive! Lettuce - the right amount, not enough to mask any flavors. Tomatoes - see onions, above. Hot pepper mix - very good, again, not overwhelming. Seasonings - so many to choose from, I took oregano, salt, pepper, garlic, and red pepper flakes, along with some fat-free italian dressing. Bread - a fresh wheat roll, very tasty, about 6 inches long, not too thick yet strong enough to carry it's load. Now, if I were to critique, I would say why charge a buck for a pickle on the side? Come on, man! It's a pickle. Throw me a bone! (Or a pickle.) For a good sandwich, come here. I need to try another couple of menu items, and I think a shake would be in order next time.

Best sandwich place I've been too! Bread. meat and cheeses are all so fresh and there are so many more options to choose from!

This place was pretty good as far as sub shops go. They have great customization if you're picky, having said that I wish the employees were more helpful if they see people struggling to order with all the choices. I had a grinder the way I wanted it with a pretty great chocolate shake. If the staff improved I would definitely rate it 4 stars.

    (3)
  • Sean P.

This place and the others around town are a close second favorite sandwich shop. The grinder is what I usually get and am never disappointed. The only thing I would hange is the consistency of the bread. Sometimes it is amazing and others it is just ok. Don't know if trying new things but can be day to day as to quality of bread.

Pretty good place, and have been there twice in the past few weeks. It's a little easy to get carried away with ingredients and make your sammich a little gnarly, especially when you're hungry, and it all looks good. The parking situation at this location is kinda terrible, and is my only real downer. As for the food, the ingredients are excellent. I like the bread at a few other places better, but it's still good. I'll keep coming here

Finally got to try this place and I had a good experience with good tasting Chicken Pesto sandwich. Price points and ingredients seem to be right along with everyone elses and the service is similar to Firehouse Subs up on Lincoln - a little chaotic and you have to listen for your name to be called. POSITIVES: Good tasting sandwich and fresh bread with nice texture. Although it's a little tricky to figure out the ordering system at first you eventually figure it out. HINT - go on line and review the menu first, before heading to the restaurant. They have ton of drink choices. "Name caller" dude was pretty cool and had a great attitude toward the guests. NEGATIVES: Yes, the parking is rediculous because they share the strip maill w/ Chipotle, Chinese place & about a 1/2 dozen other businesses. HINT: If you don't mind walking, drive around back and park behind the strip mall near the stinky dumpsters. There are only 2 cashiers taking orders and things seem a bit chaotic especially when they try to rush you through. Would make sense to have a manager right in that area to direct things? I'll be back to try more menu items!

Which Wich makes great, made-to-order sandwiches, and they are toasty..mmmm! You mark up your order with all the fixins you want on a little brown paper bag, and hand it to them, and they fill it with your yummy sandwich! May 2010 update: they opened a new location about 2 minutes from my house in H.R....very cool!

This was my least satisfactory experience with Which Wich so far, as otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about it. My friend had never been there, so I suggested we stop here for a quick lunch. I usually go to the one in Highlands Ranch. Anyway. First the kid at the cash register charged me for 2 drinks instead of one. After I pointed it out to him, he offered me another drink (um no...I don't need another one) and then offered some additional punches on my card. *sigh* Then my friend's pulled pork sandwich looked suspiciously like turkey (I don't think pulled pork is supposed to look like sliced deli meat?)...with olives...that she didn't order. She took it back to the counter WITH the bag that had her selections marked off, and they said it was correct. Mmmmm....maybe they were too busy to deal with it? I'm all for the efficient order and fulfillment system that they have going. However I guess they aren't really used to stopping to deal with issues.

There's not much to say about Which Wich that hasn't already been said. I was overwhelmed with the sandwich choices, which is great, and my sandwich was very good (much better than Subway and the prices are comparable.) I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, though.

I visited this place on Monday, 03/28/2011. Here is what I thought... FOOD: I love love love the fact that you can customize your sandwich here. I am an incredibly picky eater so any time you can customize your order, I'm IN! I had the Italian sub, and it was great--messy, but so yummy! It's made fresh right in front of you...and they even toast it. It's adorable how you fill out a paper bag for your customized sandwich and they give it right to you wrapped up in foil in that very same bag. It's very nice if you are doing multiple orders at lunch, you can place the person's name on the bag. SERVICE: The service was good. Cashier wasn't particularly friendly, but the staff making the sandwiches made up for that. VENUE: The store was clean, and kind of a neat design for the décor. OVERALL: I'm definitely a fan and I can't wait to try other sandwiches! Go early to beat the lunch time rush in this area!

Absolutely love this place. There are places where you love the atmosphere, and some where you love food. Sometimes you like both and sometimes you like neither. I love both at Which Wich. First, the food. Delicious. I am not quite sure either because it seems like a normal sandwich but it just tastes absolutely delicious. Another great thing about the food is the taste is very consistent. I have never had a bad sandwich there. The ordering system is great. The first time I think it slows you down (my wife who likes to really mull things over likes that part of it). However, once you understand how the bag ordering system works it is incredibly fast and efficient to go in and order. I went about a week ago, walked in, grabbed my bag, took about 20 seconds to mark off what I like on it, walked up and paid. It was about a minute total. Very fast and efficient and you never find yourself three people down in the line with the person compiling your sandwich yelling "do you want lettuce?" and you have to yell over other people to tell him yes/no. You simply give them your bag and sit down until they call you up. I love places that nail both atmosphere and food. Which Wich is exactly that kind of place.

I like the way this place works. It's just different, not your everyday sandwich place. The sandwiches are good, and there is a great deal of variety so it's easy to find something that suits your mood. The way it works is you go in, pick a paper sandwich bag from the kiosk and fill in your sandwich preferences. Then, give it to the cashier and wait for it to go down the assembly line. My personal favorite: buffalo chicken, toasted, with spicy mayo, buffalo sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pepperoncini, salt, and pepper. Mmm Mmm Good! This location can get pretty busy during the lunch hour because of all the business and Park Meadows mall nearby.

SHAMEFUL. I recently visited on a weekend during lunch rush hour (which ok, was my first mistake) and I couldn't believe how shitty my sandwich was. They totally threw it together. It was like, all the insides were basically sitting on a pile of croutons. They over toasted the bread and they put like one tiny sliver of each of my toppings inside the "sandwich". I will NEVER be back to this location.

I want to tell you all something, I hit a personal goal. I diligently designed the perfect sandwich by using a red sharpie & a paper bag in less than four visits to a which wich in the Denver metro. When you stumble across a new chain, you deduce the challenge it presents you. Which Wich gave me a completely different experience in ordering something to my tastes, & if they bothered to do that I figured I'd bother to give them the chance to give me perfection. To which, I am happy to say, I believe is within reach. If you want to give them a try, it's less than $7 to get a 7" sandwich for your lunch, which is probably all you need to be spending anyway if you bothered making that kind of "exhausting" commute to work for a measly morsel in some endless cycle these economic times in which which we all have had to adjust to. If you've never been to a Which Wich or an establishment that may have a similar order system; I'll try to explain it to you: remember those fifth grade reading novels they kind of pushed on you during the Scholastic sale? The ones where you get to decide on what lousy choice to make at least four or five steps into the reading cycle? I know what you're thinking, "those always had crappy endings" Yeah, so did your last D&D game, that does not mean you didn't enjoy the moment. Back to the point, the options totally make sense in food selection. So grab a bag, grab a pen, and deduce your heart's content starting out with a few essential questions. Bread, Base, etc... The Hula is my favorite to start with; what to do to Ham & Pineapple on toasted white/white bread? Sounds very Tropic to me, so it's a BBQ, with whatever sounds like it matches with Ham or Pineapple...Ham makes me think of Swiss; and I just keep adding on to that :) They grab your bag, prep it down the line, and you get your meal on the spot and fresh. I've been pretty pleased with the end result; while I think I might have a tad too much toasted bread to deal with sometimes but never bother ordering double veggies. They are very accommodating in your request. If I have to give it a negative, it would be an ironic one. Yes, it is located where I can come and go in a 30 minute lunch time frame within a mile or so from it; but that is pretty much only the case if you travel by car. This is not a pedestrian or cyclist friendly strip mall, as you'd expect in the area. You can get there from light rail if you don't mind the asphalt jungle of Park Meadows Mall :)

Yum! So, so many pros. The best part is the basic concept in ordering. When you walk in, you pick a brown paper bag that is labeled with the basic kind of sandwich you want: chicken, turkey, veggie, whatever. There's a bucket of red pens and you just mark on the bag whatever you want: mustard, cole slaw, cucumbers, buffalo sauce, hummus, avocado, cheez whiz, bell peppers, there's like a gajillion different things you can get (they're all listed on the website). I love that you just mark what you want on the bag, because I am that annoying, picky eater who's like, "I want the club with no ham, add avocado, no mayo, sub spicy mustard for the regular..." and I feel like a pain and half the time it's wrong. I love the fool-proof ordering. After you order, just sit down and wait for them to call your name to get your sandwich. And it's delicious! All the sandwiches are toasted, and it's might tasty bread. Good veggies, too. I also like places that have fountain coke, because I like to mix. Extra bonus points from me for any restaurant that makes its nutritional information available (it's on their website). I like to know what I'm eating. They have a punch card system something like 10 sandwiches and the next one's free!

I'll make it short and sweet...this place was great. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The sandwich menu had some interesting choices you probably won't find at too many 'fast-food-style' sandwich shops. The sandwich I ordered was made pretty quickly and tasted great - it was toasted and all of the ingredients tasted super fresh (I had the 'Thank You Turkey' with stuffing and cranberry). They had a pretty unique and efficient way of ordering, which some others already described in their reviews here. Although the sandwich was not very big (all sandwiches were 7 inches, 14-inch sandwiches soon to be offered, according to the employee), it was enough for lunch along with a bag of chips. I would definitely eat there again if I were in the area. Great concept, great food.

I thought it was over. I thought I could never find a quick, delicious, fresh-tasting, interestingly-flavored, diverse, sandwich shop, outside of a local butcher/deli. In my opinion: Subway is terrible Jimmy John's is boring Quizno's is sloppy (not even listing the "other" fast-food sandwich places that are all blah) In steps Which Wich! I had an excellent gyro and house chips, with tons of flavoring and actually tasted GOOD. THe variety at this place rules and the environment was unique, giving a local feel (with newspapers clipped to a rotating area which doubled as a standing-table) and a funky vibe that Jimmy John's has lost. Try something new! You'll be back time and time again with all of the different types of sandwiches which not only smell fresh, but taste it.

  • Lauren B.

Which Wich is a great lunch spot in the Park Meadows area. You get to pick exactly what you want on your sandwich by checking off items on a brown paper bag. Put your name on the bag, go up to the register and pay. Add chips, soda, milkshake or cookie to the order at that time too. The line workers then assemble all the sandwiches, send through through a toaster (all sandwiches are toasted) and then wrap them up, put them in your original brown paper bag and you're off. Pros: *can easily customize your sandwich *super cheap lunch option Cons: *service a little slow most days *no outside seating (at this location)

Sandwich personalization at its best! Warm cookies are so good. Homemade black pepper potato chips are even better.

Nom nom nom nom! That's the impression of me when I get my Which Wich? on! What a great sandwich shop, a huge diverse menu. I've been here twice now and loved the two different sandwiches that I got. First time I got the Wich of the Day. It was a nacho sandwich thing... wow! And the second time I tried the Chicken Cordon Blue... amazing! I'm definitely a fan of WW? and can't wait to go back. Rumor has it that they're building one downtown, which is awesome the traffic around Park Meadows is a nightmare and is my least favorite thing about this place.

Love the sandwiches here. They have a great menu and if you choose your ingredients right you could eat an out of the world sammich! The staff is friendly and always on their toes.

I LOVE Which Wich. I have been going to this location since it opened, and have been to several other locations over the years. Their sandwiches are consistently delicious, but make sure to get the bread toasted! I accidentally checked the "not toasted" box one time and it was definitely not as good. There are so many different varieties -- you can basically get whatever you want on your sandwich. I always get the tomato and avocado sandwich with provolone. Which Wich is definitely the best chain sandwich shop around!

  • Eric R.

Great Italian sub. The negative reviews don't make sense. The process odd ordering is fun. The prices are reflective of a high end establishment that makes gourmet sandwhichs. Bottom line awesome food but a higher priced lunch ticket than the average sub shop.

    (5)
  • Melissa H.

Ok, I don't want to oversell this......Um, HELLO!!! Best friggin' sandwich EVER. I mean absolutely delicious. The only bad thing about it is there is a huge selection, which can be a little overwhelming, especially when you're starving and can't make up your mind! I went with my usual fare...turkey, pepperjack and avocado. It was to die for. So much so, that even though I was still hungry, I saved half of it so I could enjoy it a second time later in the day :)

I guess the latest trend in trendy eateries is to write your own order its a cool idea really but aren't there a couple of other places doing it.? It seems the gimmick of writing your order on a paper handing it to a cashier who then rings it up and passes it one is an extra step in the whole process! I really wanted to like this place but was severely disappointed, the sandwich was small and had minimal meat and cheese on it but there was free drink refills and they have diet dr pepper! I did how ever make a drawing of myself saying with a cartoon bubble saying this sandwich sucks, don't think they put that up on the wall!

I've been to one of these joints in the past, and it's well decent. It's horribly confusing to order, but there's always a nice employee to explain how to order. (think of The Counter and it's similar) So no, you don't go up to the register, say I want this sandwhich, but write it down on the paper bag they're about to put your sandwhich in. Overall, the service is meh as it took a good while for my sandwhich, the bread is very chewy and I like some crunch to my bread, the ingredients were good and fresh. (dijon mustard seemed really good, much better than the S word's) It's a solid joint, but good luck finding parking as this strip mall gets horribly packed. You're better off doing what I did which is park across the street and risk your life running across the street with your sandwhich and drink.

OMG...who knew a sub shop could be THIS terrific? I'm not even a fan of sandwiches but I love this place. WW has SO many options and it's all managed in a really cool way. All sandwiches are $5.25 and are served warm(learned that after expecting a cold sub my 1st time). Get this...they finish cooking the bread when you order! Doesn't that sound lovely? It is. White or wheat sub rolls...more options than you can imagine to put on it. Chicken Parm? Got it. Shrimp Po Boy. That too. There are nominal fees for a few extras that are truly above-and-beyond so I think the pricing is divine.

Great idea for a sandwich place. Mark all your choices beforehand on a slip of paper and hand it in. My personal fav is the Grinder on wheat. Give this place a try. Highly Recommended.

At my work, people know I am always on the hunt for a new place to go for lunch. A while ago, two people told me about this "great sandwich place that they used to go to in their old hometown" (not the same hometown, btw) and that a new one was just opened in Lone Tree by the mall. What were the odds of two people giving me to same recommendation within a couple days of each other? I was sure it was divine providence. Wrangling up the usual suspects, we headed over to the store. Bad news, the parking lot is tiny, packed with cars, and difficult to navigate. I managed to wedge my Malabu into a parking spot. Its lunch time in suburbia and this place is getting business like it's the only Chinese food restaurant on Christmas Day. I practically race inside the store trying to beat others to the counter. What am I greeted with? One of the most incomprehensible ordering systems known to man. "Hello. Welcome to Which Wich! Please take a moment to completely redefine everything you have every known about ordering food in a restaurant." I remember when I played Myst for the first time. You started the game, some stuff happened, and you were left just standing there in a room. You could walk around an apparently abandoned island, but nothing happened. After hours of carefully observing nothing, you began to realize how to play. Which Wich's "grab-a-bag" system made me feel the same way. After picking out a meat-genre and selecting the corresponding bag, I was given a pop-quiz. The sandwich options are laid out on the bag like a scantron test in school. I started to panic. I was told there would be no math. Luckily, all the questions were about a subject I had been studying for a long time, eating. With my now completed eating test in hand, I waited in the line to turn it in. When asked, I go for the chips and the drink. The total for a sandwich with chips and a pop is under $10. This place had better be as good as I had been told. The counter guy hangs my order-bag on a laundry line and slides it down to the preparers. At this point I lose track of what is happening. I fill my drink, sit down, and chit-chat for a bit. After what feels like an eternity of thinking that they are calling out my name, but other people are stealing my food, they actually call out my name. Let me stress this point, I really had a hard time trying to be all cool hanging out with my pals while keeping an ear out for my name to be called. The names all sound the same and the sandwiches all look the same sitting there on the counter. I was certain that some determined thief was just waiting to nab my food. Anyway, I get my sandwich. So here it is, the reason you had read this far. How good was the food? After all the hype, crowds, learning, and paranoia, the sandwich was.... Okay. It was nothing to write home about. As a matter of fact, I think I like Subway better. You get to specify what you want on your sandwich at both restaurants, so the only difference is the bread. Which Wich gives you two choices: White or Wheat? Neither one is fantastic. Bread makes the meal, and Subway wins the taste test hands down. I left disappointed. I thought "Maybe I need to experiment. I need to find my perfect sandwich at this store." I have been back probably five times now and I am starting to think the "perfect sandwich" is not going to happen. On the plus side, I am really starting to dig the whole menu-bag thing. Bottom line: Don't buy the hype. Which Wich is okay, but it is not the sandwich messiah. You can probably get the same quality of food for a better price elsewhere.

Hiked 14er, took pic with WW bag, printed out what I wanted before I got there (corn beef with slaw, tomatoes, etc, etc), parked in back bc super crowded in front, got through the door for my first time, got help from door girl & cashier, upgraded from small sub for $2+, cashier didn't judge me for being cheap, looked at others' hiking pix in back, got sandwich, brought home, LOVED IT. Thank you, Damon. Thank you, Which Wich!

My husband and I stopped in for a Sunday afternoon lunch. It was pretty busy, but service was fast and there were plenty of seats. Lots of options--they offer just about every sandwich imaginable--and as someone else mentioned, it's nice to select your toppings without having to walk it down the line. The sandwiches were tasty (I had a reuben that was decent, my husband had a fantastic Italian grinder), and the shakes were thick and yummy. My only real complaint is the bread offerings. I'd like more of a choice than white or wheat, especially for a reuben. Service was prompt and friendly, and the dining room was comfortable--they even had newspapers out to flip through while you wait for your food. I will definitely be back!

Best Sandwich shop-chain in Colorado! $5 for any sandwich, customize as you like, easy way of ordering, quick & delicious results. I love the Elvis Wich, peanut butter, bananas, on toasted baguette. The Veggie and the Chicken are also great choices, add as many toppings or veggies as you wish. Get the Housemade Chips to go with your sandwich, spiced and salted quite perfectly. I wish there were one of these in Denver instead of just the 'burbs.

I am all about their concept of checking off what you want on the bag and then there is no confusion whatsoever of what you wanted on your sandwich. This is especially useful when people making your sandwiches don't know enough English to take your orders correctly. (Although they may not mess up on your sandwich orders, they may mess up on your drink orders, so be aware). However, I have come to realize that if you check off too many sandwich toppings, they don't end up putting all of them on due to space issues. So be sure to just pick your top 3 or 4 toppings. The sandwiches are aiiight. I was not head-over-heals having any food-related palate orgasms over their sandwiches. I had the shrimp po'boy, which actually is NOT real shrimp! It's some artificial shrimp-flavored dough acting as fried shrimp. My husband had the BBQ pork, which was average as well. But I guess he can't complain, at least they used a real pig in his. 1 star off: fake shrimp 1 star off: real pork (okay, that's not really a reason for 1 star off, but I'm just still mad about my fake shrimp)

I don't think there are many sandwich shops you can go to and create a yummy lunch out of just veggies. I am not a vegetarian, but it is fun to try new creations every now and again. And it gives a new spin to the brown bag lunch. Check off what you want and the instructions for the person making the sandwich are right there. The only reason this place did not get a 5 star is because of the parking lot.

This is the best sandwich shop, EVER! What an amazing concept - I mean, I don't know how many times I've placed an order and they've gotten it wrong. With the bags, you mark exactly what you want and it goes with the sandwich so that they can make it exactly to your specifications. I love it. I once ate here every day of the week, it's that good. Why didn't someone think of this sooner??

Better than Subway by far. I drive out of my way (and suffer the traffic on Arapahoe) to go by Which Wich on my way home often. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Turkey, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and especially the Club...love the Club! I tried the Thank You Turkey but it was a little too weird for my tastes. Don't feel intimidated by the options, I did the first time! But I went with what I knew and I was still pleasantly rewarded with a warm, filling sandwich. If you like a spicy kick to your sandwich you will love the additional spicy peppers mix you can add to your order!

Pretty good, but not better nor cheaper than Subway. A lot of different kinds of sandwiches, and it's nice just writing down what you want as opposed to telling the cook. House-made chips were pretty good. Service was friendly. Cool that they give free sandwiches for climbing 14ers!

Yeah... So... Melissa pretty much nailed all of the fantastic and just down right cool things about Which Wich. Besides the simply basic yet fantastic ordering system, all of the sandwiches can be what you make them. This truly is, "having it your way". On my experience to Which Wich the place was packed for lunch, but that didn't seem to hold up anything. The line flowed great, sandwiches were quick and warm after diving in. Another cool yet different thing was the waiting area. Newspapers hung readily available for all to enjoy and the brown bag gallery in the back was something to take in. (More like a collection of brown bag art by people with too much time on their hands.) Let's not forget the staff. Although your typical late teen employees are everywhere this time of year, (summer break) the staff at WW is awesome. Unfortunately the sandwich line made a mistake on my order and promptly called me back to the counter. Without hesitation the person handing out the orders apologized for the mistake and slapped a free sandwich card in my hand. Within two minutes my new sammy was up, hot and fresh and ready for consumption. Unheard of situation in any quick casual dining establishment I've been to recently. Enough for now. Which Wich rocks and I'll be back...with my punch card.

I love this place--the ingredients are good, the prices are reasonable, and you get to design your own sandwich! Also, this is not your typical Subway style "design your own sandwich" place, they have a huge number of possible ingredients, including ones that my co-workers and I had never heard of, and had to look up on google when we got back! As a vegetarian, I usually find that there is one sandwich in every sandwich shop that is meatless, and there is only so many adds/subs I can do to get something different. At Which Wich, the variety of ingredients means I can always get a different sandwich. Yay!

I LOVE this sandwich place! I love having stuff done MY way and this place is perfect!! My kids love doing their order on their own bags and the food is great! There are ENDLESS choices as far as sandwiches, toppings and such. Some of which I have never heard of. Custom sandwiches, I love it!! The only complaint is that it's getting so popular and parking is a bitch!!

You know it's going to be a great sandwich shop when you fill out your order on a brown paper bag with a red sharpie! The Italian grinder was soooooo good, the bread was very fresh the meats and cheese were just as fresh. The service was super fast and friendly. It was the freshest and best tasting sandwich I have ever had!! Ever!!!!!!! Mmmmmmmm.

Wow, people going bonkers all over the place when they talk about this place. Being that I work 5 minutes away, I thought I MUST give it a try. Finally, a good, quick lunch besides Chipotle where you can get a tasty meal from $5 and some change - beats other places like spicy pickle and noodles which are great but $9 or so. The sandwich was much better than expected. Definitely dig this place over Heidis. They are really good sandwiches, they are pretty quick, well priced and its nice and clean. I don't know that it has a whole lot of character for those that care... Im not one of them when we're talking a quick lunch. I think I'll go back later this week. Thanks everyone!

Boy am I glad my company ordered Which Wich for lunch one day. The sandwiches are incredible. It has easily become my favorite sandwich shop in the entire Denver area. I don't know if you are familiar with a sandwich shop called Potbelly Sandwich Works in Chicago, but this is the closest I have tasted to their perfection. First of all, the ordering process is excellent. You pick out your paper bag with the type of sandwich you want. Example, I ALWAYS get the Italian sandwich. Then you choose what type of Italian sandwich such as: grinder, meatball, etc. Then you mark all of your fixings that you want included. Thats it. Hand the bag to the cashier, pay, and wait. My only gripe is that they don't have more locations...like downtown. Anyways, go here.

What a great idea for a sandwich shop!? You have the option of being creative, great food, great atmosphere. Which Wich had a very cool concept where the customers write what they want on the bag the sandwich is placed in as a way of placing their order. Drawing on the bags in encouraged as other customers' drawings are displayed throughout the restaurant. As a customer marks off what they want on their sandwich bag, others can pass in line if they finish first. This makes the line move much faster. Another great offering that this sandwich shop has are malts and shakes. All of this is for a reasonable price and all of the workers are very friendly.

  • Eric D.

These are some great little sandwiches. I love the concept of writing on the bag exactly what you want. I have to say thay i am some what addicted to the buffalo chicken sandwich. Also the malts are excellent. Also if your a hiker, they have a 14er program. You take a picture with their bag on top of a 14er and then you bring it in, they put it on the wall and you get a free sandwich. gotta love that. The only gripe i have is that the parking lot is super small and a real bitch to find a space during lunch.

  • Ken E.

If you are looking for good and affordable sandwich check out Which Wich. A unique way of order helps to cut down on mistakes plus I don't have to walk my sandwich down the line like at subway. The only issue i have with this location is the parking lot is very bad. Not enough spots for all the shops in the shopping mall. There are three restaurants in a row and only 20 or so parking spots.

I tried this place due to reading the other reviews, and was very glad that I did. Like other reviews mentioned, you walk in and grab a paper sack with the corresponding sandwich of your choice on it. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a variety of sandwiches, not just the typical sub sandwich choices: Buffalo Chicken, Italian Beef, Chicken Philly Cheese steak, Monte Cristo, etc. You then mark your choice of bread (white or wheat) and all other sauces, mayos, mustards, oils, veggies, and spices your heart desires. For a brief moment I was disappointed by having only 2 choices of breads. However, once I started eating my glorious sandwich I realized that the bread does not matter too much. It's such a small part of the sandwich compared to the heaping mound of meat and veggies. The best part of this place is that it is perfectly tailored to picky eaters, such as myself. Usually when ordering sandwiches I have to say the usual, "No onions, pickles, or mustard." At this place you simply choose what you want with a check mark on a paper sack...not what you DON'T want. And the final perk to this wonderful little sandwich shop? All sammies are a flat rate of $5.00, no matter how many veggies or sauces you add. If you want to add bacon, avocado, extra meat, extra cheese, or a pickle spear it is only $0.75 more. You can also make your sandwich a "Wicked Wich", meaning more meat AND more cheese for a $1.00 more. After trying this place, I'll probably never go to Heidi's again (which is just down the street).

great sandwich place.i love the soft, warm bread, the yummy toppings and the friendly and quick service. Vegetarians need not be scared. The black bean patty is delish.

I absolutely love the design of this place. I mean, from the decor to the ordering system, the whole thing smacks of efficiency and food rolled into one. Go up to the billboard, grab a bag, use the sign to figure out your custom built sandwich (or order one of the pre-built ones) let the staff handle it while you read the Times from a stand up news carrel, pay, and eat. Awesome. As for the food, it's good. I mean, not mind blowing, but good. You'll fill up and be happy you did. I ordered the Reuben, which is not a Reuben but more like a faux-Reuben Jr. Still tasty. The only problem is this is very close to Chipotle and now Panda Express, so I always wonder how it's business is faring. I myself prefer a Chipotle burrito, but if I don't need a baby-sized portion of food, I much prefer the elegance of Which Wich.

There are few times in one's life when they get an opportunity to eat at such a delicious sandwich shop. This one is one of those few opportunities. I'm having explosive orgasms in my mouth every bite - as I type this. This is a sandwich place not-to-be-overlooked.

Which Wich is a good option for a quick bite to eat. I came in on a Sunday around noon. There's was a couple of people int he restaurant, but it wasn't packed or super busy. They have a large selection of meats for sandwiches and the R&D sandwich is always interesting. I like stacking the meats and putting all into a "lettucewith" where the basically replace the bread and wrap the sandwich in iceberg lettuce. It's not well known, but if you hike a 14er and take a picture at the summit with one of their bags you can get a free sandwich. Just bring in a printout of you and the Which Wich bag at the summit and...BAM free sandwich. I do this all the time! Don't think I've ever actually paid for a sandwich here! It's a great deal.

This is a solid sandwich shop. I'm not overly fond of the way they do their ordering, but the sandwich was good. I ordered their in house chips and would rate them a three. I'll visit this place again to try some other stuff on their menu.

Easiest place to order a sandwich. Take a bag, check off a few items you want and hand it over. That's all folks.

$40 to feed a family of four?!? Are you kidding me?? Have you heard of a combo meal? You get nickel and dimed at this place. The kids' meals are such a disappointment. You get a sandwich that looks like it was made with square Wonder bread and a drink. The 'side' that comes with this is a fruit roll-up. My kid has braces and can't eat this, but there isn't another option. How about some actual fruit, applesauce, or yogurt? I like the brown bag concept and the freshly baked cookies are good, but this place is overpriced, a terrible deal for families, and has mediocre food.

  • Melissa N.

Which wich certainly puts a different spin on the process of ordering a sandwich, you can essentially make any combination of a sandwich you want by picking a base and then using a marker to select your toppings on a good'ole brown bag. When you are in the mood have the food decisions made for you, this is not the place to go! There are just some days that I make lots of decisions at work, and for lunch, I would rather just have those decisions made for me and they are likely better than I would put together on my own. :) If you enjoy and can put together a tasty and creative sandwich when given just about any topping option you could think of, then this is going to be a favorite! The bread was just your typical sandwich bread (white or wheat, a lettuce wrap. or a bowl were also options) and the toppings were your typical condiments (add stuff like coleslaw, thousand island dressing, cranberry sauce, vegetarian options, they even have an Elvis sandwich with peanut butter, honey, and bacon). I did like that the meats were freshly sliced instead of prepackaged. I bought two sandwiches (one small and one medium, and a regular size fountain drink and the total was $15 and some change). They have in house made tortilla chips that they sell by the bag and warm cookies to order as well. Moderate prices and a healthy lunch depending on what you load your sandwich with!

Had the medium grinder for $9. It was delicious and the bread was toasty and the meat and toppings plentiful. I was overstuffed and will consider doing a small next time. Shop is clean and they made my sandwich despite my last minute arrival at 8:47pm. Polite girls at counter.

Love me some Which Wich! Great ingredient and a pretty cool selection model. And did you know you can make any sandwich into a salad!!! Wish they had a diced chicken option, or at the very least would cut up the turkey meat. Yummy options though

I used to be a regular here as my office used to be just around the corner. The sandwiches are great if you do them right. If you are a plain jane sandwich person, it is a pretty meh sandwich. Go for the gold and put a lot of fixin's on there to really make it wonderful! The service is really hit or miss. The speed of service again, really hit or miss. The last time we were there it took about 10 minutes for them to make the sandwich, and then they screwed up my wife's sandwich (which they remade) but that was another 10 minutes. On a 1 hour lunch, 20 minutes of sandwich making is a huge bummer. Anyways, it is a good sandwich, I just wish it was faster / more accurate during the lunch rushes.

I am a big fan of Wich Wich but this location is not a good example. Fist off the parking lot of this location is a complete nightmare. Extra small lot that is way to busy for how large there lot is. If you are lucky enough to get a spot this is the ugliest location I've seen. Second, this locations employees are sub par. I never get a happy response and my order is frequently wrong. I find this extra disturbing because I hand them a bag with my order on it and they still don't even try. And what ever you do do not try to return an order thinking it will be better the second time because the same people will be doing the same thing again. When I'm in this part of town is the only time I am not in the mood for Wich Wich.

    (1)
  • Sam H.

I am a fan! As other reviewers have stated, ordering system is cool and sandwiches are very good. This is not your standard cold cuts with mayo sort of place. If you are going to do this right, get out of your comfort zone and mix it up between your bread slices.

  • Connor G.

Even though this company has been in the Denver area for quite some time now, it is only years later that I've finally decided to try it after getting tired of same old sandwich places around town. I wish I had come earlier... There many, many different meat choices and sandwich type sub-choices, with hundreds and hundreds of different combinations you could try with cheese choices, toppings (various to say the least, there are even small cranberry bits!), sauces, spreads, with the option for hot or cold. Even though I was a little surprised that the medium was slightly over $9 for a turkey sandwich, it was well worth it after taking a bite and seeing how big a medium actually is. Easy to say I left extreme full and satisfied.

Which Wich is so easily forgotten until you have a Hula sandwich with your endless choice of toppings and realize what you've been missing. Then you realize that you wish you would have gotten the larger size so you weren't so damn upset when you finish your last bite. This location is in a location that struggles for parking, so I think that has a major effect on the business. It's always half empty! And that is great for you as you order, pay and get all within 10 minutes. Regardless of the wait time, it's worthwhile for $9 or so to get the delicious fresh bread with that taste that reminds you of your childhood. I would highly recommend the Hula, but there are so many options, I would venture to say the others are just as good. In the land of terrible chains and average food, this place stands out for its flavor and cost. And this is the only sandwich shop with a bra shop next door!

The small is pretty filling - good for lunch or dinner. Really soft bread, good quality bacon, and highly customizable sandwich.
